Annette Brandanger
Annette Brandanger is a Norwegian dance artist working across performance, choreography, and teaching.
Her practice is rooted in interdisciplinary work, blending movement with voice and visual art. Annette is passionate about bridging education and the arts through inclusive, exploratory formats.

In 2024, she was awarded a Professional Grant (Dancer Category) by NODA.
​
Current collaborators include Kunstbanken Art Center (Hamar), OsloMet (Oslo), and Nynorsk Kultursentrum (Volda).
​
She has performed in works by Katrine Kirsebom, Einy Sparks, Scarlett Perdereau, Jorge Crecis, Willie Dorner, Charlotte Spencer, Kompani UT, Panta Rei Dance Theatre, Gül Özger, Matthew Westerby, and Stewart Hopps.

Trained at Trinity Laban (1997–2001) and Oslo National Academy of the Arts (2010–2011), she also holds a mentoring certificate from the Norwegian Academy of Music.
Annette views dance as fundamental to human experience—valuing presence, risk, and clarity within movement and the creative process.
